If you love nothing more than taking in live shows then you should head for Branson. Nicknamed 'The Live Entertainment Capital of the World' this is the place to be if you want to be immersed in theatre, music and fun. You will be pleased to know that despite it being famed for being a place that is known for its entertainment Branson is very family friendly and children are welcome. There are around 50 theatres in Branson which host more than 100 shows so there will be something there for everyone regardless of your tastes.
Perhaps you would rather spend a little time doing something more physical whilst you are on your trip that can be taken care of too. There are no less than twelve golf courses that are all of a championship standard all within Branson, so if you are a fan of golf you should take your clubs and get a few rounds in.
Museums are also plentiful in Branson from the American Presidents Museum which is only one of six of these type of museums in the country to the Titanic Museum. Those of you who are interested in history will be fascinated in the Titanic Museum as it contains actual artefacts from the ship itself that were recovered when the wreck was found.
Maybe shopping is more your things, and if that is the case you will be at home in one of the hundred plus stores in the large outdoor mall. Amongst the stores are also some great restaurants so you can get a bite to eat when the mood takes you. In fact you can choose from so many different restaurants that you might need to plan where to eat in advance. At Branson Landing, which is one of the shopping areas there is a boardwalk which offers entertainment in various forms, one of which is a hydro-technic show which plays every fifteen minutes and is a firm favourite with the children.
If you would like a day out full of excitement and thrills whilst you are in Branson there are three amusement parks to choose from which are great fun for all of the family. Take your pick from the Silver Dollar City Theme Park, Celebration City Amusement Park or White Water Family Water Park - or go to all three, the choice is yours.
When night falls in Branson the city takes on a different look. Built along part of Route 76, which is now known as 'The Strip', Branson at night looks like a smaller Las Vegas with all the bright flashing lights. Like Las Vegas, Branson is home to some great magic shows, variety acts, dancing and comedy shows. There are so many in fact that you could easily stay for a month and never see the same show twice.
For a break that will let you relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of a theatre city you should visit Branson. Once there you will feel at ease as you enjoy the glitz and glamour of a place that is lively and fun yet seems like home.
